About Nova Psychiatry

Psychiatry that works. We were founded in Sweden to fix a simple problem: people wait too long for neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment—often years—and the process can feel opaque and impersonal. Nova Psykiatri set out to deliver thorough, humane and prompt assessments for ADHD and autism, and we are now bringing that model to the UK.

Our story

Nova began in Stockholm with one promise: no one should have to wait unnecessarily to understand themselves and access the right support. We focused on specialist ADHD and autism assessments carried out by psychiatrists and psychologists, and designed the experience around the person—clear steps, kind communication and practical next actions. That “patient‑first” approach still guides us today. 

In Sweden we’ve grown with multiple clinic locations and the option to complete parts of the assessment remotely to improve access. Patient‑review platforms also show high satisfaction with a rating of 4,9/5.

Opening in the UK

We are preparing to open in the UK with ADHD and autism assessments soon. Currently we are finalising locations, building our clinical team and setting up clear pathways for adults and children.
